These are some commonly asked questions by our renters when visiting Norris lake. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us at anytime.
Q: Are life jackets provided with the boats?
A: Yes, Life jackets are provided onboard the vessel that you are renting. The life preservers are for safety purposes only. If you prefer to use more comfortable life jackets, Oasis rents additional life jackets for a small fee or you can bring your own. ALL LIFE JACKETS ARE ADULT UNIVERSAL SIZE.
Q: Are anchors provided with our pontoon and ski boat rentals?
A: No, per our company policy, anchors are not provided on any of our vessels. If you wish to use an anchor, you may purchase one separately to use onboard. As we strive for 100% customer satisfaction, this policy is to enforce customer safety, reduce boat damage, and to lower rental costs for our customers.
Q: Is FUEL included with the rental?
A: No, fuel is not included with the rental rate. Fuel consumption will vary based on the duration of your rental. It is directly proportional to the water conditions, the weight on the vessel, and the speed at which you are traveling.
Q: What happens if it rains? Or inclement weather on the day of your rental?
A: Unfortunately, we have no control over the weather. It is our policy to restrict water rental use to prevent accidents during inclement weather. If there is inclement weather on your scheduled day, call us and we will reschedule you for another day based on availability. Unfortunately, there are no rain refunds.
Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: Our cancellation policy requires you to notify us of your intent to cancel 48 hours prior to your scheduled rental. If cancellation is less than 48 hours, we will do our best to fill the reservation, but if unable due to late notice, you will lose the security deposit.
A: Weekly reservations require 2 weeks notice in advance.
A: Cancellations are not accepted during holiday periods, and this includes surrounding days around the holiday.
Q: Does Oasis allow towing behind our jet skis?
A: NO. We do not allow towing behind our jet skis for any reason. If a rope or debris is sucked into the jet pump for any reason, you will be charged for the entire jet ski deposit. It is way too easy for renters to get a rope stuck into the jet propulsion.
